The owner of this beautiful home, located in Denver’s Hilltop neighborhood, acted as his own general contractor. His fondness for the Pop-Top project is evident in the finished product. The original house, loosely “Spanish” in style, was situated on the lot such that our addition could sit in front and on top. We turned on the charm outside with historically-inspired Spanish Mission Revival architecture: an arched porch, eave brackets, wrought iron balcony railings, red tile roof, custom pre-cast concrete details, a soft stucco finish and matching detached garage. Inside, the main floor contains the formal- and family-living spaces, big Kitchen and a home office. The light-filled stair hall leads up to the second floor addition with four bedrooms (each with its own French balcony) and two baths.
